Cian G. O'Brien's practice focuses primarily on patent prosecution to secure legal protection for inventions involving mechanical systems, electronics, and optical systems. During his undergraduate education at Rollins College, Cian completed several individual optical research projects. Additionally, Cian was nationally selected to participate in a NSF-sponsored research program at CREOL (Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers) at UCF. Additionally, Cian joined the Office of the State Attorney – Ninth Judicial Circuit, as a felony Assistant State Attorney and conducted several jury trials. Cian's research experience and undergraduate education, coupled with his legal training, enable him to understand and evaluate new technology and communicate effectively with clients concerning mechanical and electrical related inventions.
